SyncEXP doesn't sync Excel (xls) files?
Article Q: SyncEXP doesn't sync Excel (xls) files for me, all the other files work, which I've tested. I didn't find anything related to this here or somewhere else in web so I guess I'm alone with this problem..?

The program doesn't give any errors. It also notice the difference and sync it normally and reports everything was correct. Just the excel files are not synced.

Any ideas?

I don't find anything that could be causing that, but probably that's the reason. Maybe the sync program could give a warning in that kind of case?

I guess I just leave all Office files out of the sync...

Ans: Likely your excel file is open (ie. in use by someone) so SyncEXP is unable to takeover control moving or deleting it.

SyncEXP has a log file with updates after every execution. You may review that file for error message.

Your choice of leaving all MS Office files out of sync does not seem to be resolving the issue but just avoiding. As a matter of fact we, like many other users, sync tones of Microsoft office files on daily backup routines. We suggest you to grasp an IT friend to help you on the trouble shooting.
